ERP Platform for desktop and mobile
By Nans
This project aimed to develop a comprehensive ERP platform designed to simplify sales, inventory, payroll, and task management. The goal was to centralize communication and operations so that everyone in the company—from agents to the CEO—could access real-time information from anywhere, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and seamless collaboration across all levels of the organization.

As the Lead UI/UX Designer at Custom Software Solutionz, It was my job to help come up with design solutions for diferent products in the company, the main one being Sales-Hub. Designing from scratch and a client necessity, for more than 10K of users that where going to use the platform as soon as it was ready, presents a lot of challenges. As the main product of the company this represent one of the main sources of income and we can constantly see client changes, and sometimes what might look good for us, can be diferent for other people, that's why research and testing matter for a good design.
My tasks in this project:
-
Create a platform that is easy to use:
I made research about what the platform should do, and how the users where going to interact with it, made profiles, and devide the information in setions, so I could design possible user flows and wireframes.
-
Design System
I create a design system that helped the design team to make everything look the same way and also the developers could work faster on the deliveries in case a designer was not available and they needed some help with adding a text or a button.
-
Design execution
Wireframes, mocks, prototypes and slides decks to present the project to investors and future clients.

Research, the key for a solid product…
When we started this project, we made a extence research on it, because it was necesary for us to make it posible.
Most of the information from this project is confidential, and some of the research made can't be published or share until the next vertion of sales-hub is out.
Designing is not just colors...
Before starting we took all the research phase, and I was able to create profiles per users, so we could make flows which we reviewed with the development team.
My steps were:
-
Create low-fidelity wireframes (on paper) the main objective was to create the product’s structure and define features. With the team, we had the opportunity to quickly plan and validate the value of of the design of a screen.
-
Create a style guide to keep the UI consistent (colors, fonts, structure, basic components, etc)
-
Create high-fidelity wireframing in this step I defined how a product will look at project completion.
-
Create the prototype, before to move on with the development process we decided to make a quick prototype to validate the usability and overall value of solution design.

Prototype with figma
This is not the final product. Part of the products are based on assumptions, some of them created based on the research, competence analysis, and others, based on the personas and the user we want to reach.
When we launch the product it was time to validate (or not) all these assumtions.
I mean:
-
If these assumptions were correct.
-
If we pushed in the right direction?
That's why sales-hub even if it's already out, every day we find ways to make it better, and find solutions to what we see people might have a problem with.
